Stinging Nettle is comprised of 75% Sea Minerals and 25% Stinging Nettle and Stevia.
Stinging Nettle is a herb used in traditional medicines, mainly as a diuretic but it has many other benefits. It has been used as an antispasmodic, expectorant and treatment for asthma and hay fever type allergies (rhinitis). Stinging Nettle is high in Iron and is an excellent herb for anaemia and fatigue, especially in women. It has been found to help menopausal symptoms as well as pre-menstrual symptoms & may help eliminate uric acid making it suitable for sufferers of gout. Although not recommended during pregnancy stinging nettle is said to help in milk production for lactating women.
Dose & Administration
Adults: 5ml taken diluted in liquid on a full stomach
Children over 12: 2.5 –5ml taken diluted in liquid on a full stomach.
Cautions/Contra-Indications
Cautions:
Not recommended for pregnant women or children under 12.
It is high in Vitamin K and should be avoided if using blood thinning medications such as Warfarin.
